Derek is a qualified Remedial
Massage therapist, Reflexologist and Reiki teacher and Counsellor and
Psychotherapist. He has worked in nursing homes, for the St. Kilda
football club and in the corporate sector.
His approach to health is holistic, drawing on his knowledge of health,
fitness and natural therapies, all of which impact the physical, mental
and emotional states of the individual.
In conjunction with his work as an Allied Health Practitioner, he
continues to work in the Fitness Industry as a trainer and consultant
as well as lecture in Reflexology and Oriental Massage at the Melbourne
Institute of Massage Therapy (MIMT) and Certificate III and IV in
Fitness at the Australian College of Health and Fitness (ACHF).
